As a student interested in film, I took a trip down to Nicaragua with a couple of my friends as a senior trip. While in Nicaragua, I spontaneously brought acamera with me to document our adventure. We ended up catching some amazing waves, as well as some intense footage through the jungle.

As soon as I returned, I gathered up the footage and began to mess around with the programs Sony Vegas and Final Cut Studio 2. Through the course of two months, I compiled a 30 minute documentary, and sequentially showed the video at a local restaurant called Doubles Hoagies. When I saw the reaction from the crowd, it was inspirational.

The trip not only showed the astonishing waves, as well as capturing the great times we had together, but in turn helped me figure out what I was meant to do!
